For dirty water applications, the Maxi-Paw 2045A Rotor is a great choice. It offers low pressure loss. Added to that, it also features a straight-through flow design that helps to save energy and water, making it much more efficient. You can look forward to excellent close-in watering and uniform water distribution.

Whether you need full or part-circle operation, it offers great versatility thanks to its FP trip.

The precipitation rate is between 0.28 to 1.17 inches per hour (which converts to 7 to 30 mm per hour). With regards to radius, you can look forward to anything from 22 to 45 feet (which converts to between 6.7 and 13.7 meters). It also allows for maximum spacing: anything from 22 to 50 feet (or 6.7 to 12.3 meters).

For slower rotation and increased distance of throw, its design includes a double-weighted arm. The arm spring is also adjustable for low-pressure operation.

To minimize side splash, it includes Rain Bird’s trademarked Precision Jet Tube. It is also compatible with a number of nozzles (seven in total). These nozzles are easy to install. No tools are needed to change the nozzle.

In addition to its efficiency, it’s also rugged and reliable. It comes with a heavy-duty plastic case that features a robust, reinforced ribbed design. Plus, thanks to its multi-function wiper seal that gets activated by pressure, you can enjoy peace of mind that it will continue to pop up on schedule time after time again. The wiper seal will clean debris from the riser as it retracts into the durable case.

To prevent clogging and maintain its precise radius, it also includes a bottom inlet filter screen. Though, if you do experience problems, it’s serviceable through the top of the case.

It also comes with an optional internal Seal-A-Matic check valve. This trademarked feature helps to prevent puddling and erosion that can be caused by low head drainage.
