Preferring a sunny aspect, Eureka Kikuyu is a dense, rapid growing lawn and is a great economical solution for planting out larger areas or ideal if you have high traffic or digging dogs. It is a creeping lawn with a vigorous growth habit which allows it to repair itself very quickly if damaged but not good if you have garden beds as Eureka Kikuyu is very aggressive if not kept under control. It is able to establish a strong deep root base which helps it stand up to the hottest summer days, and it’s tolerance of water logged soil makes it a good choice for areas with poor drainage. Sir Walter –  Australia’s No.1 Buffalo Lawn is a creeping lawn that only creeps over the surface so it can be edged easily. Unlike other creeping grasses that can travel underground and are hard to keep out of the garden. Because it is a creeping grass it loves the summer but won’t do as well in the winter. However, in most cases it will retain some winter colour. This will improve with age. Sir Walter is extremely drought tolerant, grows well in the sun or dry lightly shaded areas, however, it grows better in the summer than the winter. Rhizomatous Tall Fescue (RTF) is our self repairing tall fescue that provides all the advantages of EasiCare with the added advantage of rhizomes. A rhizome is an underground stem or runner that extends outwards under the soil from the mail plant. The rhizome will send a shoot up to the soil surface while extending new roots downward forming a new plant and thus enabling the lawn to repair itself and cover bare spots. RTF Tall Fescue lawn will also establish faster than regular tall fescue so you can use it earlier, and reduce water consumption.
