If your irrigation needs are basic, the Rain Bird ESP-TM2 irrigation controller can be the ideal investment. It offers simple water-saving functionality that will come in handy for your residential gardening project.

Installation and programming are quick and straightforward, and it’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. If you opt for outdoor installation, you can rest assured that it comes with a factory-installed, outdoor-rated power cord that makes installation even more convenient. For added peace of mind, it also comes with an industry-leading, three-year trade warranty.

After you’ve installed your unit and you’re ready to program it, all it takes are three steps. There are three programs available, and each program has up to four start times.

While it’s easy to understand and use, it also includes a number of advanced features. These include its trademarked Contractor Default that lets you save and restore your custom schedule, delay watering for up to 14 days, and seasonal adjust for increasing or reducing watering by program.

If you choose to upgrade to a Wi-Fi system, you’ll be glad to know that it’s compatible with the new Rain Bird LNK Wi-Fi Module. This means that you don’t need to install a new controller but instead can use the mobile app interface for remote access. What’s more, if it’s used with the WR2 Rain Sensor, it becomes WaterSense® certified, and you can look forward to up to 30% water savings.
